Questions gift-givers ask

Is a dedicated tree still 10 cents?

Yes. Dedications cost exactly what every Treegens mangrove costs: ten cents a tree, so $10 plants a 100-tree grove in their name. The certificate is free, and any extra you add simply plants more trees.

Will the recipient know how much I spent?

No. The certificate shows the number of trees, their name, your message, and the planting site. It never shows the donation amount.

How fast can I get the certificate?

Immediately. The certificate maker works right after you give, so a last-minute gift is genuinely fine. Download it as an image for messages and social, or print it as an A4 PDF.

When are the trees actually planted?

Local teams plant along vulnerable coastlines in ongoing cycles, and your gift funds trees in the next cycles at those sites. The planting sites are filmed before and after, and the proof section shows exactly what that evidence looks like.

Is a dedication gift tax-deductible?

Yes. It is a donation to Treegens Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and Zeffy emails you a receipt. Dedicating the trees to someone does not change that.
